I only have a moment, but I wanted to show you my latest painting that will be the cover of our Mother Goddess Journal :-)

Hi guys,

I have been working very very hard these last couple of weeks, finalising 3 great works for the Solarcoaster Festival for Children. I wanted to create 3 very special paintings that really captured the magic and richness of childhood. I wanted little girls and boys to look at these works and just wich that they could be right there in the painting... and I wanted adults to look at the same works and suddenly have their inner child explode into lifewith whimsy and wonder and a burst of color and magic!

The first, you have already seen... the Tea Party. The second is titled :The Princess and the Pony.

Lose yourself in the pure innocence, gentleness and totally girlyness of this scene. My daughter Zoe gazed in pure amazment at this painting for ages the first morning that she saw it. She patted the horse and then she told me a story about the girl in the picture :-)

It was a beautiful moment for both of us.

This work is original (and from the heart) Acrylic and Pastel on  beautiful linen canvas.

40 x 30 x 1.5 inches.

I am selling her for $840.

I know that she will bring great delight to the home of her buyer.

The final one of this series is titled:

The Butterfly Ball

With it's strong magenta sky and flashes of orange clouds, this sunset of magic at an evening Butterfly Ball is sure to capture all the magic that surround us, hiding in the every day.

When I finished this painting, I couldn't stop staring at the bright magenta sky. I kind of hope that this one takes a little time to find it's new owner as its strong colors bring a little smile to my face and into my heart that I can't seem to wipe away.

This painting is an original Acrylic & Pastel on Linen Canvas.

30 x 40 x 1.5 inches.

I am selling it for $650.

Technically it is not as good as 'The Princess and the Pony', hence the lower price tag... I have to have respect for that, but it certainly is the one of the series that brings me greatest joy!

 I absolutely loved creating this piece :-)

My daughter and I had a great time discussing what might have been happenning at this beautiful tea party and stroking the beautiful soft feather glazed into the painting on the bottom left corner.

Hi guys and welcome to my blog.

I have been a busy little artist and have some beautiful new works to share with you. The first is my most recent and is titled "Hanging Around":

 I really enjoyed doing this painting and loved the freedom of being in the flow for the whole day as I worked on the finishing touches.

I also would love to share with you this next painting titled:

Voice of the Toddler

This one was so much fun to do! I feel that she really really glows and captures the drama of the moment.

This one would have to be my favorite so far.

The final one to reveal is a painting that I created to be the cover of our next Journal... "Journal for the Mother Goddess". Staying with our current theme for all of our Journals, this Journal too will offer mothers of all walks support and guidance while on their path of Motherhood. I really loved doing this painting and I feel that it holds a very sacred energy as it really captures the all-encompassing timeless moment when  a mother finally feels that they have all they need in the world wrapped up in their arms. I hope that you enjoy it too.

I suppose you might be wondering where I have been! Well I would say, hidden away in my studio, honing my skills! And what might you ask, do I have to show for it?????

And I would say "VIOLA!" with a great big smile on my face.

Here is my latest painting... titled "The Meeting". I will leave the discovery of meaning and script to the viewer... but put simply, I love her, she is gifted, strong and free. As for the rest of the story, you will have to ponder that yourself and find out what it means to you. I would love to hear your theories...

Welcome to our Interview with a Goddess!

Nicole Graham is co-creater of "Journal for the Modern Goddess", a beautifully illustrated hard cover journals designed with self-discovery and self-empowerment for all women in mind. The journal also comes with a Guided Meditation CD offering 3 beautiful guided meditations to guide every Goddess in her path of self-discovery.

Nicole is here with us today to reveal some of her inspirations and tools for success... here is what she had to say...

Question: Nicole, where did the desire to create the "Journal for the Modern Goddess" begin?

 

Nicole: My initial desire started with creating a cost effective journal that would inspire me to write in it.  Living in Hong Kong I found it difficult to find a nicely covered writing journal that wasn’t overpriced.  I then thought maybe I could create my own and sell them through my online store, www.moderngoddessgifts.com.  This is when I contacted you to talk about using your paintings displayed at www.nirvanavisions.org as covers of the journals.  From there we brainstormed and today we have published our first journal, Journal for the Modern Goddess.

 

 

Question: Who are you hoping to reach with this Journal and how will they benefit?

 

Nicole: Our journal is targeted towards women of all ages, who would like to develop themselves through journaling.  The journal allows women to experience a journey of self-discovery and empowerment through the self-guided sections and through the companion guided meditation CD.  The whole journal allows women to uncover the beautiful, unique and powerful Goddess that they really are.  The experience takes them on a magical journey to find their own personal power.

 

 

Question:  How have you benefited personally in bringing this Journal into the world?

 

Nicole: I’m so proud of our achievement.  One a personal note, this is just another proof for me that when I set my mind to something and I allow the Universe to support me, I can achieve great things.  It has given me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone and trust that if what I am doing is for the higher good that the Universe will conspire to help me move forward and grow.  It has given me faith that I can work with another person to bring such project together.

 

 

*Question: What is next on your creative agenda?

 

Nicole: Personally I’m off to Art Jamming on Saturday night.  I’ve gathered a bunch of girlfriends to go to a centre that provides all the painting material and canvases, and we can paint while drinking bubbles and jiving to great music.  On a more professional note, our Journal for the Pregnant Goddess, Journal for the Goddess Bride and Journal for the Mother Goddess are next on our journal agenda.  The Journal for the Pregnant Goddess is nearly complete and we’re not far off in passing it over to our graphic designer.  We hope to release this journal by mid this year.

Over the past 12 months I have been working with Nicole Graham of www.themoderngoddess.com.hk to develop a range of guided writing journals and companion guided meditation CDs.

 In November 2007 we launched our first journal, Journal for the Modern Goddess.  This beautiful, hard covered, spiral bound writing journal helps women uncover the beautiful, unique and powerful Goddess that they really are.

The companion guided meditation CD features 3 tracks that provide women with the sacred journeys that inspire and encourage them to create positive life patterns.

Hi All, and welcome to 2008.

 I hope that you have had a little time to reflect on the year gone by, the journey that you have had and where you want to head... hmmm come to think of it, maybe I should do that!

 Anyway, I have been a little bit busy and here are a couple of paintings that I managed to complete over the break. Please excuse the theme of pregnant bellies, but I am not obsessed, I am just getting everything together for our "Journal for the Pregnant Goddess".

 For those who have not bought their copy yet, our "Journal for the Modern Goddess" has been selling like hot cakes and people are really enjoying what we had to offer in this Journal.

So esteems suitably boosted and with legitimate feedback that we are filling and serving well the needs of a large portion of our community and beyond... and knowing that we are stoking the fires of inspiration and self-empowerment for many, Nicole and I are unveiling a number of products for all throughout this coming year!

Anyway, back to me... here is the first of 2 of my latest paintings...

I love this one, I think that she just shines... around the edge of the canvas is written "Every morning, she holds a quiet celebration in her heart... and then dances out the door to meet her day".

 The next is another pregnany image...

I really love this painting. We are thinking of using another version of this painting for the actual journal with some important differences that will reflect the Journals' integrity... but this is still a really lovely pregnancy image. I am thinking of offering this image as a print, so please let me know if you are interested or if you would like to buy this image for your birthing center or similar...

I am putting this one up for sale at $840 plus postage.
